Background

In the current scenario, the UAE has emerged as the most sought-after real estate destination across the globe, as indicated by a survey carried out internationally, which revealed that more than half of the investors who participated in the survey planned to invest further in real estate in the UAE.

The results showed that 56 per cent of the investors planned to invest further in the real estate of the UAE, while 51 per cent felt that they had a good grasp on the opportunities that exist in the market.

UAE leaders attributed this investor confidence to the country’s long-term focus on stability, security and forward-looking economic policies. Officials said investors are drawn not only by financial opportunities but also by the strong sense of safety, clear regulations and future-oriented vision offered by the country.

The survey, conducted by Penta Group in partnership with ARADA, showed particularly strong interest from investors across the Middle East, Asia and Europe. Among respondents who ranked the UAE among their top three investment destinations, 92 per cent of Egyptian investors selected the country as a preferred market. The figure stood at 91 per cent among Indian investors and 85 per cent among Saudi investors.

European investors also expressed strong confidence in the UAE market. The survey found that 63 per cent of French investors, 60 per cent of German investors and 57 per cent of Swiss investors identified the UAE as their leading destination for real estate investment.

Researchers said legislative transparency, political stability, a strong regulatory environment, ease of property ownership, security and the potential for attractive returns continue to strengthen the UAE’s position in the global property market. These factors are expected to support further growth in investment activity in the coming years.
